Masha and the Bear

The Bear defends his fridge from intruders, tackles a massive laundry and sews dresses for Masha after rescuing her from a puddle and jam. Masha turns the kitchen into a candy factory, cares for her favourite Pig with disastrous results, competes with Panda, discovers photography, and enjoys the Bear’s berry‑harvest jam.

The series — titled Like Cat and Mouse, Liar Liar Pants on Fire!, Laundry Day, La Dolce Vita, Kidding Around, Just Shoot Me and Jam Day —is a programme made up of a collection of short episodes. Each instalment follows the antics of Bear, Masha, Panda and a few other familiar characters as they navigate everyday mishaps and whimsical adventures. In one episode Bear discovers that his refrigerator is under threat when an intruder breaks into his home, prompting him to defend his food supplies at all costs. Another sees Masha and Panda entering a cheeky cheating contest, leaving viewers to wonder who will win. Bear later attempts a big laundry project in his yard, only to end up rescuing Masha from a puddle and a jar of jam and then stitching new dresses for her. Masha then transforms Bear’s kitchen into a candy‑making factory, but a sudden toothache teaches a simple lesson about looking after one’s teeth. When she tries to look after her favourite pig, her well‑meaning efforts backfire, causing chaos for everyone nearby. While Bear is busy mending Masha’s dresses, she discovers an old camera in his closet, snaps a picture and realises she has a knack for photography. Finally, Bear gathers berries to make jam, a plan that perfectly matches Masha’s taste as she experiments with everything.
