TV Radar is a free, independent UK TV guide that covers 489+ channels across Freeview and Sky. We show 261 Freeview channels and 228 Sky-exclusive channels including Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Sky Atlantic, TNT Sports and more.
The site was built because existing TV guides are either slow, cluttered with ads, or missing half the channels. TV Radar loads fast, covers everything, and gets out of the way. No account required, no paywalls, no app to download.
Our listings are sourced from publicly available Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) data from Freeview's XMLTV feed and Sky's schedule API. Both sources are fetched and merged every 12 hours, giving you accurate, up-to-date schedules covering 7 days forward. When Freeview and Sky both carry the same channel, we merge the data to get the best of both — Freeview provides the base schedule while Sky enriches it with additional metadata like series images and on-demand links.
TV Radar is built with Next.js and hosted on Cloudflare. The site uses server-side rendering so every page loads with full content visible to search engines and AI systems. Programme data is stored in a SQLite database and served via Incremental Static Regeneration — the homepage refreshes every 30 minutes, the Now & Next page every 5 minutes, and channel pages every hour.
We cover all free-to-air Freeview channels (BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, and all their associated digital channels) plus Sky-exclusive channels that are not available on Freeview. This includes Sky Sports (Main Event, Football, Cricket, Golf, F1, Tennis, Premier League, News), Sky Cinema (Premiere, Hits, Greats, Family, Action, Comedy, Thriller, Drama, Sci-Fi & Horror), Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, Sky Witness, Sky History, Sky Nature, Sky Documentaries, Sky Arts, TNT Sports 1-4, and many more.
Our daily "What's On TV Tonight" articles are written with real opinions about what's worth watching. Every article goes through a fact-checking process where programme times, channels and descriptions are verified against the EPG database before publication. We cover Saturday through Thursday with full editorial guides.
Programme listings are provided by Freeview EPG (XMLTV format) and Sky's schedule API. Channel logos are sourced from the open-source iptv-org community database. All trademarks, logos and brand names are the property of their respective owners.
