Essex couples serve up food inspired by Ibiza, Zimbabwe and the great outdoors

In Essex, married couple Karen and DJ Paul are first to host with their Ibiza-themed evening. They are joined by outdoorsy Lucy and her partner Paul, who is left hungry in every course. The third couple are Zimbabwean social worker Pat and her husband Tino who are blown away by the entertainment - but not so much by the food. On day two, Pat and Tino are determined to deliver a winning Zimbabwean evening with big portions to satisfy Paul. But their unconventional dessert of mashed sweet potato proves a little too adventurous for their guests. Finally, it's Lucy and Paul's chance to show off their outdoorsy grub but their menu involves a lot of cooking on the night, leaving them stressed out while their guests are waiting
