A researcher who helped Carrie understand her condition is found dead

Carrie is forced to confront her painful past when Dr Eugene Lustig, a prominent researcher who helped her understand her condition, is found dead - having fallen from a 12-storey building. A recent conflict puts his disgruntled assistant at the top of the suspect list - until he too is killed - and a search of the latest victim's apartment uncovers a box of tapes from one of Lustig's studies, some of which include footage of Carrie. A cassette is missing, however, and its significance could be the key to cracking the case
