About This Program

From 2011, 12 enthusiastic home-cooks take part in a culinary contest devised by Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry to determine which of them is Britain's best amateur baker. In the first round, the competitors are challenged to make 24 decorated cupcakes in two hours, before being asked to bake a coffee and walnut Battenberg cake. Presented by Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins
