About This Program ✦
The show is a collection of short episodes – “The Vacation”, “The Gripes”, “The Void”, “The Fraud”, “The Boss”, “The Move”, “The Law” and “The Allergy”. It is listed simply as a programme, with each instalment classified as an episode, and it follows the misadventures of the Wattersons and their friends. During a family road‑trip the Wattersons find themselves stranded in a desert after their car conks out while swapping spooky stories. Meanwhile, Gumball’s sour mood rubs off on Darwin, and the pair start griping about everything they encounter. Their complaints lead them to spot odd inconsistencies around Elmore High, and they eventually uncover that Principal Brown’s diploma is a forgery – a secret the principal is keen to keep hidden. The boys also intervene to help Rocky secure an office position, hoping to make his father, Mr Robinson, proud. Gumball later confronts Clayton about the alleged “Seven Pressure Point Heart Exploding Technique”, treating it as just another of Clayton’s outlandish claims. In a separate incident, Gumball jaywalks and is pulled over by the Donut Cop, while Darwin suffers an unending bout of sneezing that shows no sign of stopping.
The Amazing World of Gumball broadcasts on Cartoon Network HD at 12:00am, Friday, 13 February 2026.
