About This Program
Animated adaptation of the children's book by author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, the creators of modern classic The Gruffalo. It follows the title character on an incredible adventure across the seasons as he runs from a playful dog, gets thrown into a river, escapes from a swan's nest and even ends up on top of a fire. Will he ever get back to his family in time for Christmas? Martin Freeman heads the voice cast as Stick Man, with Hugh Bonneville, Russell Tovey, Rob Brydon and Sally Hawkins, plus Jennifer Saunders as the narrator
