A bittersweet coming-of-age comedy set in 1980s Newfoundland based on Canadian comedian and actor Mark Critch's memoir of the same title. The pint-sized hero is 11-year-old Mark, who grows up in St Johns with his radio reporter father Mike, mother Mary, older brother Mike Jr and grandfather Patrick. Mark nervously prepares to enter junior high school and he makes a new best friend, Ritche Perez.
