A jealous husband is accused of murder

The barrister attends a concert performed by the Casterini Trio. Unfortunately, the cellist is murdered and the finger of blame points at the apparently jealous husband of Elizabeth, the trio's seductive violinist. Rumpole agrees to Elizabeth's request to defend her spouse, but once the trial gets underway his admiration of her rapidly begins to wane. Courtroom drama, with Leo McKern
