Grizzy and the Lemmings

The Lemmings revamp the castle paintings by adding themselves beside noblemen, improvise a trampoline that erupts in deafening blasts, snap Polaroid selfies with a sheep, joust on sheep that pull Grizzy from his dreams, and use a ring to send their astral forms to haunt him. Grizzy stops their furious rodeo, banishes them to the dungeons and confronts their return.

The programme is a collection of short episodes under the titles Lemming On Canvas, Musical Discord, A Bear In The Sheepfold, Jelly World, Pet Sheep, Sheep Joust and Foodie Phantoms. It is classed as a programme of the episode genre, featuring a series of whimsical sketches that follow the same characters through a variety of chaotic situations. In the first sketch the Lemmings have a great time refurbishing the castle’s displayed paintings, adding themselves beside the illustrated noblemen. They then improvise a trampoline made from bagpipes, each leap accompanied by a deafening outburst. Grizzy intervenes to stop the Lemmings’ furious rodeo game on a sheep, and later banishes them to the castle dungeons. Undeterred, the Lemmings take Polaroid snapshots of themselves in disguise outside the castle, posing with a cooperative sheep. Their antics continue when they pull Grizzy out of his dreams while jousting on sheep. The Lemmings later acquire a ring that lets their astral forms travel, and they decide to use it to haunt Grizzy. Throughout the episode the setting remains the castle and its surroundings, providing a backdrop for the Lemmings’ relentless mischief and Grizzy’s attempts to restore order. Each segment blends visual gags with slap‑stick sound effects, keeping the action fast‑paced and unpredictable.
