Grizzy and the Lemmings

The Lemmings outsmart Grizzy, first by infesting his coat with fleas to reclaim a Yummy jar, then stealing his peanuts, cocktail snacks and, during a picnic, his Yummy jar with water‑balloons. They compete in a safari photo contest for a trophy, are chased by an angry elephant onto a promontory, and awaken Grizzy, who finds four Lemmings nearby.

The series is a programme made up of several short episodes – Mini Troubles, For Peanuts, Within Snout’s Reach, Safari Express, False Children, Game of Stone and Tam‑Tam Lemming. It is classified as a programme of the episode genre, presenting a handful of self‑contained adventures that follow the same characters. Across the episodes the Lemmings constantly try to get back a jar of Yummy that Grizzy has confiscated. Their first scheme sees them infesting the bear’s coat with fleas in order to retrieve the jar. Later, Grizzy wakes up famished only to discover empty cupboards, while the Lemmings are playing nearby with an elephant and the bear swipes their peanut stash. Just as Grizzy is about to nibble the last cocktail snacks in the cabin, the clever Lemmings beat him to them. The rivalry continues when both parties enter a safari photo competition on an animal reserve, each hoping to win a trophy filled with Yummy candies. While Grizzy arranges a picnic by the pond, the Lemmings use water‑filled balls to sneak underwater and steal his jar of Yummy. Their antics provoke a raging elephant, which chases them out of the cabin and drops them onto a small promontory nearby. The final scene finds Grizzy roused from sleep by four Lemmings, signalling yet another round of the ongoing chase for the coveted Yummy treats.
