Morse investigates a murder at a munitions factory

A royal visit to a family owned munitions factory puts a spring in the step of Chief Superintendent Bright, but Morse is still stuck on general duties and excluded from the event. However, when an unpopular worker is found murdered in a secluded area of the shop floor, the detective finds himself drawn into the affairs of the company and its dysfunctional owners. The prime suspect is a colleague who had fallen out with the victim over an industrial accident, and Bright is eager for the investigation to be carried out as quickly and quietly as possible, but Endeavour is not convinced the case can be solved so easily.
