Quick Summary
Reconstructing a Peterborough centre for disabled children
About This Program
As part of the 2013 appeal, Nick Knowles and the team head to Peterborough to help Children in Need-funded organisation Little Miracles, which supports youngsters with disabilities and life-limiting illnesses and their families. However, whereas Mark, Chris, Julian and Billy normally renovate an existing property, for the first time they are knocking down a building and reconstructing it from the ground up - making it worth almost £1million. With just nine days to complete the job, they'll need help - and lots of it. Luckily, tradespeople turn out in force - from both the local area and across the country - giving their time for free
DIY SOS: Million Pound Build for Children in Need broadcasts on U&W at 12:00pm, Friday, 2 January 2026. (Subtitles)
