DI Mooney and the team enter the high-stakes world of poker when Bobby Rodrigues, the favourite to win the Caribbean Masters tournament, is poisoned mid-game. As all fellow players are confined to their seats for the entire match, and no other individual is allowed access to the stage during that time, suspicion soon falls upon each player. A novice to poker, Jack enlists Dwayne's assistance in getting the players to show their hand, while Florence, who is forced to keep away from work after an injury, finds her own way to help the case.
