Within this finale, a freshly‑emerged Wraith superhive delivers a crippling blow to the Daedalus, then vanishes into hyperspace and sets a direct trajectory toward Earth. The assault leaves the Daedalus severely compromised, forcing the crew to confront the unprecedented threat posed by the superhive. By slipping into hyperspace, the Wraith collective gains a swift advantage, charting a course that could bring the alien menace directly to humanity’s home world. The episode ends with the ominous implication that Earth now faces an imminent invasion.
