TV Guide: Early Evening (6pm -- 8pm)
Antiques Roadshow -- BBC One, 7pm
The team sets up at Cromford Mills in Derbyshire this week, home of Sir Richard Arkwright's original water-powered cotton spinning mill. Among the finds: a collection of rare football shirts, a brooch that turned up in a sock drawer (as the best things often do), and a bird clock that's apparently as quirky as it sounds. Fiona Bruce remains the calm centre of it all, no matter how unusual the object.
The Floor -- ITV1, 7pm
Semi-final time, and the last 17 players are scrapping for a place in the grand finale and that tempting 50,000 pounds. Rob Brydon has settled into this hosting gig nicely -- he's got the comic timing to keep things moving without overshadowing the players themselves.
The Great Pottery Throw Down -- Channel 4, 7.45pm
The potters are heading to Rome, or at least to their workbenches with Rome on their minds. This week's challenges involve mosaics and water fountains inspired by the Trevi Fountain, which is the sort of brief that separates the genuinely gifted from the enthusiastic amateurs. Semi-final stakes mean at least one elimination that'll hurt.
TV Tonight: Prime Time (8pm onwards)
Call the Midwife -- BBC One, 8pm
A cohort of junior doctors arrives at Nonnatus House to shadow the midwives on their district rounds, which means fresh faces, fresh tensions, and at least one character learning a humbling lesson about what it actually means to deliver babies in difficult circumstances. Timothy Turner is among the young medics, and Violet -- never one to sit idle -- decides to have a go at midwifery herself. Penultimate episode of the series, so things are building. Catch up via iPlayer.
Big Cats 24/7 -- BBC Two, 8pm
New series, and the wildlife camera team is back in Botswana's Okavango Delta. Lions prowling through the night, a new female leopard called Lediba who's just had cubs, and the return of a cheetah named Pobe. The round-the-clock filming captures behaviour you simply don't get from daytime-only shoots -- the night-time hunting footage in particular is something else. If you liked Dynasties or Planet Earth, this is for you.
Lord of the Flies -- BBC One, 9pm ⭐
This is the one. The final episode of Jack Thorne's four-part adaptation of William Golding's novel, and if you've been following the boys' descent into savagery, tonight is where it all comes apart. Ralph throws himself into action as violence spirals out of control, only to realise -- with horrible clarity -- that he's now the prey. Daniel Mays, Rory Kinnear and Tom Goodman-Hill have been outstanding throughout, and director Marc Munden hasn't softened any of Golding's bleakest instincts. The whole series is on iPlayer if you need to catch up before tonight, and honestly, you should. This has been one of the most unsettling dramas the BBC has produced in years.
The Lady -- ITV1, 9pm
Episode three, and the cracks in Jane and Tommy's whirlwind relationship are starting to show. A make-or-break holiday in the south of France is supposed to fix things. It doesn't. Ed Speleers and Mia McKenna-Bruce continue to be excellent together -- there's a chemistry that makes the unravelling feel genuinely uncomfortable to watch, which is exactly the point. Based on the true story of Thomas Cressman and Jane Andrews. Full series on ITVX if you'd rather binge. Check what else is on ITV1 tonight.
Secret Genius -- Channel 4, 9pm
The final, at last. Alan Carr and Susie Dent have been hosting this for six weeks now, and the remaining four contestants face the most fiendish games of the series to decide who gets crowned the UK's first Secret Genius. Carr brings the laughs, Dent brings the brains, and the format has grown on me more than I expected. Worth tuning in even if you've missed earlier rounds.
Forensics: The Real CSI -- BBC Two, 9pm
A grimly compelling documentary about the Leo Ross case in Birmingham, where a 12-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in a park. Police suspected a 14-year-old but needed forensic evidence to build their case. It's the sort of programme that makes you appreciate the painstaking, invisible work that goes into criminal investigations -- and also makes you profoundly sad.
TV Guide UK: Late Night
Match of the Day -- BBC One, 10.30pm
A packed round of Sunday Premier League action. Arsenal v Chelsea is the headline, with Man Utd v Crystal Palace, Brighton v Nottingham Forest, and Fulham v Spurs also featured. See Sport below for full details.
Misery -- BBC Two, 10pm
Rob Reiner's 1990 Stephen King adaptation, and one of the finest thrillers of its decade. Kathy Bates absolutely earned that Oscar as Annie Wilkes, a nurse who rescues her favourite novelist from a car crash and then refuses to let him leave. James Caan is superb as the increasingly desperate author. If you've never seen it, the hobbling scene will stay with you for days.
Bad Boys -- ITV1, 10.15pm
Michael Bay's 1995 debut, back when Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were at peak buddy-cop chemistry. It's loud, daft, and a lot of fun if you're in the right mood at 10.15 on a Sunday night.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms -- Sky Atlantic, ~10.20pm
Season finale. "The Morrow" -- Ashford mourns a great loss, and Dunk weighs up what comes next. The Game of Thrones prequel has been a slower burn than its parent show, but that's rather the point. Sky Atlantic is running a marathon from 7pm if you want to watch the full series back to back before the finale.
Sport
A stacked Sunday of live sport across the channels.
Arsenal v Chelsea: Sky Sports Main Event, kick-off 4.30pm. Two heavyweights going at it at the Emirates. Always one of the fixtures of the season, and both sides will fancy their chances. Highlights on Match of the Day at 10.30pm on BBC One.
Man Utd v Crystal Palace: Sky Sports Main Event, kick-off 2pm. The early game. United at home, and Palace always capable of causing problems.
Rangers v Celtic: Sky Sports Main Event/Football, kick-off 12 noon. The Old Firm derby. Needs no introduction.
T20 Cricket World Cup: Sky Sports Cricket. Zimbabwe v South Africa at 9am, then India v West Indies at 1pm. Super Eights stage, and both matches carry serious weight.
Roma v Juventus: TNT Sports 2, 7.30pm. Serie A's biggest domestic rivalry.
MotoGP: Grand Prix of Thailand: TNT Sports 1. Racing from Buriram.
