Wondering what's on TV tonight? Monday's TV guide is deceptively strong. The 9pm slot is an absolute minefield -- BBC Two continues AI Confidential with Hannah Fry, ITV1 concludes The Lady, Channel 4 launches the bizarre new reality show Handcuffed, and Sky Atlantic premieres a darkly comic new drama from the creator of Patriot. Check the TV listings below and consult the full TV guide, because you're going to need a plan of attack for this one.

TV Guide: Early Evening (4.30pm -- 8pm)
Celebrity Antiques Road Trip -- BBC One, 4.30pm
Hayley Tamaddon, Will Mellor and Danny Dyer go antique-shopping. Soothing daytime fare.
Press Gang -- Rewind TV (Freeview 81), 6.30pm
Steven Moffat's 1989 children's drama is often cited as the first sign of the dialogue talent that would later produce Sherlock and Doctor Who. Julia Sawalha and Dexter Fletcher lead the cast. If you've never seen it, you'll be surprised by how sharp a CITV show from the late 1980s can be.
TV Tonight: Prime Time (8pm onwards)
Emmerdale -- ITV1, 8pm
The Dales contingent get their Monday slot. Bear is in further trouble, Cain feels at the end of his tether, and Arthur is fearful. Emmerdale continues to tick along reliably -- it's the kind of soap you can dip in and out of without feeling lost.
Panorama -- BBC One, 8pm
Part of the BBC's AI Unpacked Week. Tonight's edition asks whether robots and AI are coming for British jobs -- not in some distant sci-fi future, but right now. Should we feel threatened, or might it actually make things better? Given that AI dominates every conversation in 2026, this feels overdue.
AI Confidential with Hannah Fry -- BBC Two, 9pm
The second episode of Fry's three-part series, and arguably the most provocative. Titled "Death by Driverless Car", it investigates what happens when pedestrians are killed by driverless cars and who is to blame. Fry takes her own test rides in autonomous vehicles in both the US and the UK. The series concludes next week with "The Assassin and the Algorithm". All episodes are on iPlayer.
The Lady -- ITV1, 9pm
The final episode. Police have found Jane Andrews three days after her lover Thomas Cressman was stabbed to death. Philip Glenister joins the cast as DCI Douglas, bringing exactly the steely authority the role demands. Mia McKenna-Bruce has been the standout of this series -- there's a vulnerability to her Andrews that makes the real events hit harder. Based on the 2001 murder trial. Full boxset on ITVX.
Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing -- Channel 4, 9pm
Completely mad. Channel 4's new reality format takes eighteen strangers, pairs them up, handcuffs them together, and the last pair standing wins 100,000 pounds. Jonathan Ross hosts. The opener pairs bartender Tilly with millionaire car collector Anthony, which sounds like the setup for a chaotic sitcom. Continues tomorrow.
DTF St. Louis -- Sky Atlantic, 9pm ⭐
The pick of the night. Steven Conrad, creator of the cult favourite Patriot, returns with a new series starring David Harbour as Floyd, a man told he's going to die of a heart attack. Linda Cardellini plays his wife Carol, Jason Bateman is best mate Clark, and the three of them form a love triangle handled with melancholy absurdism -- funny in ways that creep up on you, sad in ways that linger. Harbour is perfectly cast. If you've got Sky or NOW, start here.
Silent Witness -- BBC One, 9pm
Nikki, Jack, Harriet and Kit investigate the apparent suicide of a British-Chinese activist and must navigate complex international tensions. The two-parter wraps up tomorrow, and the whole series concludes with it.
TV Guide UK: Late Night
Small Prophets -- BBC Two, 10pm
Mackenzie Crook's sitcom continues to build its reputation as one of the year's best comedies. Pearce Quigley is brilliant as Michael, a man who keeps religious prophets in his shed alongside his alchemy experiments -- a sentence that shouldn't work but somehow does. Lauren Patel and Ed Kear co-star. On iPlayer if you haven't started yet.
Industry -- BBC One, 10.40pm
The series finale. Tender dominates the headlines, sending shockwaves across the media and the government. Late on a Monday is a tough slot for something this demanding, but if you've invested in eight episodes of financial chaos, this is your payoff.
The Menu -- Film4, 9pm
Ralph Fiennes as an unhinged celebrity chef who serves a deadly tasting menu to a group of wealthy guests on a private island. Anya Taylor-Joy is the outsider who wasn't supposed to be there. It's pitch-black, wickedly funny, and Fiennes is having an absolute ball. One of the sharpest films of 2022.
Sport on TV Tonight

TV Guide UK: Final Verdict
DTF St. Louis on Sky Atlantic at 9pm is the pick of the night -- Steven Conrad, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini and Jason Bateman is a combination that's hard to resist. On the terrestrial side, AI Confidential with Hannah Fry on BBC Two continues strongly with its driverless car episode, The Lady on ITV1 reaches its grim conclusion, and Handcuffed on Channel 4 is gloriously daft. Later, Small Prophets at 10pm on BBC Two is quietly becoming one of the comedies of the year, and the Industry series finale at 10.40pm on BBC One is essential. Sport fans have Birmingham City v Middlesbrough on Sky Sports from 7.30pm. For a quick look at what else is on TV tonight, check our tonight's highlights page.
